- Alappuzha: Kerala Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan said the state government will provide 2.5 lakhs job opportunities in the IT sector. The Government has taken all steps to promote IT sector in Kerala. He was speaking after laying foundation stone for IT Park at Ambalapuzha in the district.
The global financial crisis has created apprehension among the youth. The state government is making all out efforts to overcome this crisis, he said.
Cooperation minister G. Sudhakaran presided over the function.
Later the Chief Minister refused to comment on the questions of mediapersons.
