Court asks state to decide on prosecuting Vijayan, 2 others

Kochi: The Kerala High court on Thursday said that the government should take a decision in prosecuting Pinarayi and two others, who were framed by the CBI in the SNC Lavlin case, within three months. The court said that it has no authority to tell the prosecution to file the chargesheet.

The court delivered the orders on two PILs seeking a declaration that sanction of the Governor and the state government was not required to prosecute Pinarayi Vijayan and two others.

A Division Bench, comprising Acting Chief Justice J B Koshy and Justice P Bhavadasan gave the orders here on Thursday.
