Paul murder :Several unanswered questions remain

Alappuzha: Mystery still shrouds the story coined by the police in the Paul Muthoot murder case as a lot of questions still remain unanswered.

1. Police said that George was driving a Ford Endeavour vehicle and at Pallathuruthy he hit a two wheeler. The vehicle which did not stop after hitting the two-wheeler irked a group of people who were waiting to get the tyre of their vehicle repaired. This group followed George's vehicle resulting in the murder. The Scorpio, driven by Paul's driver Shibu, which was following Paul's vehicle, stopped at Pallathuruthy to collect the keys of Chambakkulam guest house. When Shibu reached the murder spot in seven minutes he found Paul hacked to death. The report says that Paul succumbed to his injuries on the spot. Within seven minutes the whole incident happened ie. Paul's vehicle hitting a two wheeler, a group following him in a Tempo Traveller and killing Paul. The simple question is that how all these incidents happened in such a short period?

As per Inspector General of Police Vinson M. Paul. It is believable as per scientific evidence.

2. The persons who were with Paul belong to a goonda gang and those who came to attack Paul were also hired goondas. Is there any connection between thetwo gang?

IG's reply:
The group, which had 22 people, were hired goonds and were on the way to commit a crime near Alappuzha. They came in two tempo travellers, one Santro and one Scorpio. When the team stopped at Pallathuruthy to repair the tyre of one tempo traveller Paul's vehicle passed through the spot hitting a bike rider. Among the vehicles parked there one passed towards the Alappuzha direction following Paul's car. A probe will be conducted whether these groups have any relation.

3.The investigation team did not have any suspicion over the logic of a chase between Endeavour, which has the capacity to ride in high speed and tempo traveller.

IG's reply: As everyone in the traveller was in a drunken state there are chances for the same.

Another suspicion is that driver Shibu may have been sent to collect the keys inorder to prevent following Paul's car till the murder is committed. When the driver reached the house boat office to collect the keys he was told that the guest house is already open. When police reached the spot after the incident, the tempo traveller which was under repair, was still in Pallathruthy, IG also agrees that. But after some time the car went missing. Why did the police not take into custody the car at that time?
