Thiruvananthapuram: For the first time, there would be an exclusive 'Kerala Pavilion' at the Global Village land of the Dubai Shopping Festival starting from November 22, promoters of Kerala section has said here.
'As part of the Global Village at Dubai Land in connection with the 14th edition of Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF),India Pavilion is carrying an exclusive and dedicated Kerala section this time," Briji Bhalla General Manager of Radio Asia Network and Nissar Syed Asia Vision, Dubai, promoters of the Kerala section, told reporters here.
There would be 50 dedicated stalls in the Kerala section and 20 persons had already booked for space, Syed said adding based on the demand and request the number of stalls and space cuold be increased. 'The 97-day long DSF is a right occasion for Kerala businessman to promote their products', he said.
Ethnic handicrafts, artworks, traditional and modern furniture, garments, home appliances, jewelery and fashion accessories, gems, footwear and leather goods were some of the products products in the Kerala section, he said. 'We are also planning to organise some cultural programmes from Kerala in front of Kerala pavilion during the festival days', Syed said.
