Alappuzha: It is not possible to say at the moment whether the two surrendered goons, Omprakash and Puthanpalam Rajesh, are witnesses or accused in the Paul M George murder case, DGP Jacob Punnoose said on Monday.
The DGP, talking to reporters here after a meeting with officials involved in the investigation, said that some details cannot be divulged as it may hamper the course of investigation.
He said that steps will be taken to make the duo, who have surrendered in Tamil Nadu in connection with another case, available for interrogation and a plea will be filed in the court for that.
Meanwhile, a police official from Kerala has arrived in Palayamkotta court with the 'production warrant' to get the custody of the accused surrendered at Thirunelveli. A special team of police officials has also left Thiruvananthapuram to bring the duo to Kerala..
