Seething and trying hard to save the party’s image, CPM state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan lased out at media saying the media is protecting the miscreants. Pinarayi Vijayan said, a section of media who does not want the truth to emerge is propagating false reports.
Pinarayi Vijayan said, according to Intelligence agencies, Kerala is ranked among having the best law and order situation in the country, but the media is trying to project a different picture, media should not take up the role of police or investigators. Where did media get reports that, police had approached and instructed blacksmith to prepare “S” shaped knife, the media is hatching conspiracies with some mysterious agenda. He said there was a concerted campaign by these parties with the help of some media “making false charges”against government.
Fuming at the opposition Pinarayi Vijayan said, it’s not the CPM but the Congress, which is keeping nexus with ‘quotation gangs’. The Changanassery quotation gang was bought to Alappuzha by Congressmen with the help of a RSS worker named Jayan. There is proof that, Om Prakash have had close association with a present MP and has stayed with him at MLA hostel. The goon named’Kodali Sreedharan’ who was arrested in connection with Havala money transaction have links with leaders like VM Sudheeran.
Pinarayi also added that, it was the Left government, which has acted against miscreants and issued warrant against Puthanpalam Rajesh.
