Kozhikode: Writer and film director Ranjith said that Malayalam writer, orator and critic Sukumar Azhikode's allegations that superstar Mammooty had received Rs 5.5 crore to act in the movie `Pazhassiraja' is baseless. Ranjith, in an exclusive to Mathrubhumi online, said that such kind of allegations without establishing proper facts is not new to Sukumar Azhikode.
Ranjith came down heavilyagainst the critic saying that Azhikode, who is a superstar in the oratorical world, has also received many favours at many forums. He said that Azhikode need not feel jealous about what superstars Mohanlal and Mammooty received.
Ranjith said that Thilakan's allegations against Mammootty for being behind the removal of the veteran actor in the Mohanlal-starred movie is quite humourous. Mammooty does not have any role in these, he clarified. Azhikode is making falseless allegations without establishing the truth and supporting Thilakan.
