Kochi: Special Investigation Team, which is probing the Kalamassery bus burning case, will go to Coimbatore for further enquiry. The team led by Assistant Commissioner P M Varghese will Sunday leave forCoimbatore based on the statements made by Soofiya Madhani, who is in the judicial custody now.
The team will examine whether Abdul Nasar Madhani, who was in Coimbatore jail in connection with the Coimbatore blast case, used mobile in jail. The SIT will also take statements from the jail officials who were employed there while Madhani was serving his term.
