Kochi: Yousuf, the key accused in the Kozhikode twin blasts case, was arrested by the special team of police, probing the explosion at the Ernakulam collectorate.
Yousuf, hailing from Chettipadi near Parappanangadi in Malappuram, brought the explosives used for the blasts and planted itin the clock room of the KSRTC bus station, police said.
The police will hand over Yousuf, a close aide of suspected LeT agent Thadiyantavida Naseer, to the National Investigation Agency (NIA), which is probing the case in the back drop of the revelation of international links behind the blasts.
The blasts took place in Kozhikode at the KSRTC bus station and Moffusil bus stand on 3rd March 2006 within the gap of 20 minutes around noon.
