New Delhi: The official faction of the Kerala CPM has voiced the demand for resignation of Chief Minister V.S.Achuthanandan, media reports said.
CPM state secrteray Pinarayi Vijayan has not commented on the issue of CM's resignation. The demand was raised at the CPM state secretariat by the official faction who alleged that VS took a stand against the CPM state secretariat in the Lavalin issue. The state secretariat had taken the decision that there is no need to allow prosecution of Pinarayi Vijayan and that the arty should go by the legal opinion given by Advocate General Sudhakar Prasad.
According to sources all the ministers attending the meet asked for the resignation of Achuthanandan.
