Students engaged in violence are anti-socials: CM

Thiruvananthapuram: Chief minister V S Achuthanandan said that students who engage in violence in the name of strikes would be seen as anti-socials. Violence is not part of strikes and protest and it will never replace strikes. He said that the government is noticing violent strikes held by students degenerating into violent attacks, destroying public properties and institutions. He said that such persons who resort to such activities must be called criminals and not protestors.
